Classy bike, with a gorgeous shimmery two-tone red paint job, ornate lugs and gold details. Made in France with 2040 hi-tensile steel tubing in the late 70s or early 80s. The Super Mirage was designed as a recreational touring bike, and comes with the original, period correct, made in Japan rear rack, which you can easily attach panniers too. Would make a great, budget-friendly bike for getting around town or light touring, for a new rider or vintage enthusiast. 

It has very little mileage on it, and was kept in good shape by a previous Seattle owner who got it at Gregg's Greenlake Cycle (original dealer sticker is on the bike). 

It's a large bike, good for someone about 5'11" to 6'2".

Standover height : 84cm (we recommend 1-2" of room for comfort while getting on/off the bike)

We haven't done much work on this bike yet but it is priced as a tuned up, functional bike. We haven't fully restored it yet, but if you book a test ride we will get it ready for you to try out. Major customizations and new parts would be extra. 

Specs/details:

2x6 speed with a pretty good range for hills, Suntour friction downtube shifters and derailleurs. Motobecane crankset with a large and medium chainring, and a chainguard to protect your legwear from grease. Bottle cage and original red bike bottle. Original Motobecane touring seat, in great shape. Comes with attached clamp on holder for attaching a frame pump. Integrated rearview mirror and rubber wrapped bars with faux stitching. Nagaoka rack, made in Japan (original accessory with bike). Dia Compe brake levers and Weinmann dual pivot caliper brakes. New MSW Thunder Road 27x1 1/4" tires. SR Seatpost and a quill stem. Motobecane France headbadge. The frame and fork have eyelets for fenders if you want to add them. 

We remove pedals for storage, but period correct or basic pedals will be included with purchase. Feel free to book a test ride appointment if you're local to Seattle or we can ship anywhere in the US.
